Le cuadra más o menos bien a "Los Impostores", único libro de Gamboa que he leído. El protagonista no es exactamente un periodista, y la presencia femenina no es tan determinante. Hay un personaje grotescamente mediocre, el escritor peruano de origen chino, pero no es exactamente escudero de nadie. Para mí es obvio que Gamboa no es un maldito genio, pero confieso que me divierte bastante. Es bastante competente, y sospecho que hasta es consciente de su método de escritura. Personalmente, creo que una escena literaria sana requiere un cierto número de escritores así. jejeje agudo análisis, Juglar.
